Cons and Viruses and Snow Oh My!

Update:
Well, I'm officially jobless (mostly) now.  I did manage to get rid of my computer virus.   Thanks so much to for giving me some ideas on how to do it.   The ice storm pics are now up and I'm still working on fixing up the St. Louis and Marengo pics.  I hope to have them up in a few more days.

Wow!  It's been awhile since I've posted a journal with anything worth reading in it.  I have lots to talk about so where to start?

First off I guess is that I'm losing my day job.  Goody's Family Clothing is going out of business.  What's this mean for me?  Nothing as of right now.  I still have my night job so I'll pray that nothing happens to that and I'll just treat the loss of the day job as a vacation that I really could use.  I've been really worn out as of late between working two jobs and taking care of my parents so this 'time off' could be a good thing.

In other news, my computer now has a virus I can't seem to get rid of and it makes my computer run considerably slow.  everytime I use the removal tool and get rid of it, it jsut reinfects my computer somehow.  I know it has something to do with multimedia files and I probably got it from something I downloaded.  Good news is, according to Norton's website it's a low risk virus and is also low damage.  Anyone know how to get rid of Brisv.A for good?  

Also, my 'e' key still doesn't work so I'm still having to copy/paste my 'e's. -__-  Good news?  My brother said he's going to buy me a new laptop when he gets his money.  I already have one picked out.  It has a built in webcam, backlit keyboard, huge monitor, and even a fingerprint scanner.  It also said something about having a facial recognition thing too.   I'm excited.

Moving right along.  I'm stoked to have my internet back.  Due to unforseen circumstances, mainly the ice storm and missing a week of work, it got turned off because I couldn't pay the bill.  Luckily it was only off for a week and then I got it back on.   I'm just glad we've got power.  Ours went out for about 8 hours on the first night of the storm but came back on the next morning.  I hear there's still several thousand people here in Kentucky without power though.  My thoughts and prayers go out to them and I hope they get power back soon.

Saturday I went to an anime convention in evansville, IN.  It was their first year and was surprisingly much more fun than I expected.  My friends and I didn't stay the whole time though I would have liked to.  I won the half hourly drawing though and got an Ichigo plush as a prize.   Also there was this adoarable Apollo Justice that I wanted to take a pic of but didn't get the chance to.   After viewing the con's flickr page though, I'm thinking I should have stayed because Apollo, who I thought had left, was in the costume contest (which I always seem to miss out on. -_-).  But I missed out on that chance too.  Oh well I guess.  I saved the pic of him off their page so I at least got one even if I'm not the one that took it.   I did get pics of Axel, Kairi, and Yuna though.  Axel was frikkin hot and looked extremely familiar.  I know I've seen him before but I can't remember where...anyone know a Dusty Golday?  or if he's got a DA account?  I'll have his as well as the rest of my con pics up soon as well as some I took after the ice storm.  In the meantime you can check out all the great con pics here, flickr.com/photos/evpl/sets/72… ,at their site.

Speaking of uploading photos.  I found some pics sitting around on my camera from St. Louis and Marengo Cave so I'll be uploading those soon.  Also,  I've had the idea that it might be fun to try my hand at being a stock provider so probably expect some stuff from that in the near future as well.
